Recessed shampoo boxes is a niche inside the wall to hold shampoo and soap. They provide a smart alternative to the traditional wall mounted shelf and soap dish. Usually framed between the wall studs, the box can be square, rectangle and vary in size. Sometimes a piece of stud can be removed to accommodate a specific location. Pipes, wires, and ducting inside the walls can also limit box location options. All boxes are built with wet area tile backing and suitable waterproofing.
